Sorry to have been so slow about getting back...great discription of the 4o'clocks! I planted mine from a pack of martha stewart seeds several years ago..shades of pink. they don't transplant well but are tough as nails once they establish. The hawkmoth is one of the reasons I have it in my garden, and the fragrance is amazing! I found out just last year that horned tomato catapilliars are what become hawkmoths, so this year I have planted tomatoes in the same flower bed...not sure it will make sense to the moth but I thought it was a good plan.
