my heartfelt hugs to you. I thought I'd end up in the nut house during the 14-18yrs. It has all worked out good for me and will for you too. I'd be willing to guess that once the honeymoon period with her dad has worn off, she may be calling wanting to come back home. The grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence. urpletea Tear, tear. Your last post made me cry!

We have one friend who has four grown kids who are all a mess and this guy and the wife who raised these kids with him are terrific level headed loving people. Another friend who is an erratic, childish, selfish lady on her third husband has two boys who turned out so nice and non-chaos types that it's just mind-boggling. You never really know what the family dynamic is - face value is untrustworthy in this.
