It's been just over a year for me. I wish I had tried the Champix, or similar. I used laser treatments, which I swear didn't do a thing, though my friend said it worked great for her. I think my incentive at that point was the fact that I wasn't going to waste $300! hehehe, it was hard, but now I hardly ever think of a smoke, and when I do I can easily turn my mind to other things. Seems hard to believe when you first start, but you do get to this point. Keep up the great work, we're all pulling for you!!
 
My mother and father has smoked since they were teenagers (they are now in their 60's). Do you think it would work for someone who has smoked for that long of a time?

Keep up the good work!!!! I've been trying to get my parents to stop smoking since I was a child and I am 43!
 
Flowerchatter i was a smoker for 40 yrs! So yes i think it would work for them. A good friend of ours had a heart attack Sat am ended up in hosp , had 2 stints put in and was told NO SMOKING ANYMORE!!!! if you do don't come back , so he to now is on Champix!
 
today is day 15!!!!!!!! mikey im half way to that perch dinner!!! LOL
Feeling wonderful ,and actually the smell of them grosses me out now .. Wow amazing , and i am slowly working on Hubby, and not even being a Bi__h about it either. Just telling him daily the things i am noticing , he is at least keeping the smoke out of my way

I'm happy dancing for you. :) I'm so glad the smell grosses you out. I can't even stand the smell of it on people. It turns my stomach.

I'll see it, THEN I will believe it! ...I think the perchies are still "safe" for now...:)
