tried to send a $200 order to Maine

Ricky..I can't say enough about your post...one of the many reasons I like these boards is that it reminds me that not everyone's reality is thae same as mine...I know right away when someone wants something if it will be difficult...i always find out where the order is going before I start selling...that way before I open my mouth I have an idea what will be easy to sell and what will be hard, if they truely want something that I think will be difficult find I will call the florist and find out availabilities and suggestions on time allowances..yes it does take a few minutes more, but usually it is for something more than a 40 dollar plant or 50 dollar mix arrangement..I would much rather get it right first and have a very happy customer than speed through, have a florist fail on the filling end and have an unhappy recipient and unhappy customer, makes me no better than the crapshoot that is the internet...

We used to keep large plants and very large gardens in stock in the "old" days can't afford to risk it anymore. We used to also get flower deliveries twice daily but now those wholesalers have gone out of business, we still get flowers several times a week but our supplies of large plants are definitely limited.
