Tulip bride's bouquet

Artistry, your tulip bouquet is TO DIE FOR!!! OMG! Gorgeous!!! I've never seen a tulip-rose composite, you did a wonderful job. Very pretty! LOVE the cascade bouquet too. Exquisite work.

Ricky, I use the glue/water wash when clients want to use Fuji Mums in corsages (yes, I have customers who insist on using the green ones in their corsages). I paint the back of the mums and let the glue/water mixture seep into the flower to hold the petals in place to prevent them from shattering. I'll have to try it on the tulips.

we do hand tied tulips all the time with out a problem. We deliver them in water and leave a disposable water source an a roll of paper towels and instructions to keep them in water until the last minute. I have used floral lock in some when they insist on opening in the warm air. This usually happens when the flowers are too mature. Must be fresh and at just the right stage. We do bouts from then also. I use a tulip leaf and gently wrap it around the flower. I do wire the flower first tho These also hold up well for us. Have not had any complaints. JMO

The Glue/water mixture as well as the egg-white dries clear........you get more of a shine/sheen by using clear crowning glory.

I agree with MHFCO I don't know why it's a problem for tulips to be open. I do a few all tulip weddings every year, and I am sad when the tulips don't open!
