LOL!! Okay, fine, it's a deal. Fireworks and drunken' Heather. Thank goodness they don't let me anywhere near them. I just float around the pool on a raft and take pictures then husband carries me home. It's really about the only time of the year that I really, *really*, tie one on :> Good times are had by all.

All of the above....3.5 days allows a lot of time to fish any way you want to...it's a guys weekend...so I anticipate the first line will hit the water by 4pm today, and the last one out will be about Sunday 2pm in time to head home and beat the traffic....

Life is good!

So does that mean the beer caps fly about 4:05???? :beer:

Will be interested in your take on the traffic. I assume you are heading north.

We're not doing the U.P. this 4th.

Just having some beers and steers. OH and potato salad!!! :)

I finally don't have any weddings or funerals this week so I'm partying and golfing!!
We do have a RibFeast here in our town and we are a sponsor and provided all the platers for it. So we're going to go there a Sat and Sun and listen to a few bands/entertainers and relax. HAPPY 4th TO EVERYONE !!

Busy day from San Clemente To Garden Grove.

We had steaks/burgers/veggie burgers on the grill, corn and potato salad (prob not as good as Shannons! LOL). A couple margaritas.

Then we did our usual pull up the folding chairs in the driveway, set off a few mortars and watch the neighbors go nuts with fireworks. They're legal here outside the city limits, and it's awesome!

We haven't bothered to go to the city fireworks show since we moved here. No need!
 
I was off from Wed afternoon on. My nieces were here, 4 & 15, and together with my baby daughter (14 months) , we were able to get in the pool and on the pontoon both for the first time this year-so I'm a little more than pink :) I was estactic to see that my little one is going to be a water rat! She absolutely loved the pool.

We went to the Car Cruise that we try to never ever miss, and had our fair share of burgers, dogs & s'mores.

It was a great weekend and I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK TO WORK YET!!!!

No brew here...clean an sober 4 years come Labor Day!!!

Traffic was pretty heavy Sunday heading home, a little less than a normal 4th weekend, but all in all it appeared that there were a lot of folks "up North"...
