We were hoping to get out quickly. Recovery happens much quicker on a comfy sofa in your own home The midwife team was on board with the plan, as they provide all the follow-up support anyway.

Congratulations on your new addition. Maybe I won't hassle you too much for help, I know you are busy. I work from home myself because I have a three month old who I am not ready to leave!
