I'm interested in knowing what you charge your customer to send a wireout. This question came up this week in the shop when we were sending an order to Holland. TF's relay for International is $12 on top of whatever we would charge.
When I go to the grocery store and buy my breakfast cereal, I have to pay for the milk too.International I would charge; however, on domestic we do not have a wire fee. I don't belive in charging my clients to do biz with me. I know, I have to pay for the service, BUT that is the cost of doing biz. We used to charge a $5 wire out fee. Then, we offered those with corporate accounts and those who are VIP card holders with us (loyalty program) no wire fee and then this year we axed it altogether.

I use Flower Shop Network, I place the order FSN online send it to FSN and they slect a local florist ,charge me $3.99 relay fee. I then pass relay fee on to my customer,
Example -
Flowers arrangement $55.00
Tax $3.79
Delivery fee $10.00
Relay Fee $ 3.99
Customer is charged $72.78
FSN then debits my account $55.99, my pay = $16.79 .
It's not a fee Bloomz, it's a service, as you say opinions vary.
Do you have the option of selecting the florist yourself??
the answer is yes....unless the area that you are sending to is not serviced by an FSN shop, THEN FSN "chooses".....
