What do you charge for a wireout?

$9.95 wire out fee ($5 goes to the filling flst towards delivery and we keep $4.95). Minimum product $35.

I have considered bumping this up to 11.95, so I can give the filling florist $7 for delivery.

International orders $16.95 (we keep $13.95 and give the florist $3 toward delivery). Minimum product amount $50 (we explain this is only a wrapped bouquet... Arr's would be $100).

I try to look up the receiving florists recommended delivery fee as I place the order, and give them that or 7.95(our min del charge for wire outs) whichever is higher. I stopped charging the wire fee (used to charge $4.00 but always used it as a cushion to get an order out), and find that I would rather give adequate delivery charge, so my orders aren't skimmed for it.

I also have slowly raised my minimums for out of town orders, and RARELY send anything out for less than $35 plus del. I think orders that are too small are a problem waiting to happen, and I would rather get the money to the filling side than lose a customer or sale to keep the wire fee. It does not seem to be a problem, my wire outs have increased all year. FYI, my town still likes the $25, $35 and $50 price points, I push 'em past it whenever I can
