What do you see in this bouquet?

I concur pretty much in the listed flowers.......as well as the extreme seasonality of the bouquet.

However, a fairly similar look should not be difficult to acheive with more readily available blooms. Veronica, White statice, Ranunculus or Anemone, LOV, and the like should give you a very similar look and feel.

Looks to be helleborus, lily of the valley (maybe euphorbia? hard to tell), muscari, sage/rosemary, not sure of the little rusty bits.

I love ranunculous and intend to use that more this year!!
Had a wedding on the 20th, Yes two days before mother's day. The bride had a tied of white ranunculas, white freesia, paper whites and white hyacinths (no foliage) with a lovely diamante butterfly nestled in the design and some other diamante running through it for abit of sparkle. Very girlie and totally spring. I was disappointed to not have taken a photo before it went out. Camera broke but fingers crossed I will be sent a pic from the bride.

I'm positive the rusty bits are the back of a bracket of white heather that is why I'm convinced it's that.

Hi peggy, I noticed your in New Orleans. How are things going down there? Are things starting to get back together?

Thom

at the right time of year you could use lamb's ear, dusty miller , lavender, sage or artemesia for that soft foliage...:scatter

Hi Thom, things are slowly coming around, the city will never be like it was, but the part that tourists go to, the French Quarter and Uptown and Downtown, are fine. There are still miles and miles of empty neighborhoods and I don't know if they will ever come back. We're Uptown in the Lower Garden District and had no flooding and were able to reopen after about 3 months. We don't seem to be as effected by the economy right now, I think that may be because there is still rebuilding going on. Except for the odd day that is really slow, we're only slightly down from the last couple of years. I think a good number of people here would still be spending freely if they stopped listening to the gloomy news channels.

That's a real shame about NO. Wonderful city. Spend 5 weeks there, FQ and Sin City area. Hopefully thing will come back. I agree with your comment, people are glued to the news. I wish they would start spreading some hope, like 90% of us still have jobs. Good luck to ya! I miss street vendor crawfish in a bag, yumm.

hellebore
lamb's ear
lavender and lavender foilage

not sure about the trailing white flower, you could use a diamond limonium or statice
