I understood Bloomz to say the designer made whole arrangements in one minute each, not just greening in. That sounds physically impossible (though I do believe him and would love to see it!)

Paula, showing you a pic wouldn't show you that much, it's just a regular arrangement; they probably look the same whether you hand tie it and plop it in, or design in the vase. Do you mean that you guys never design in the vase?

Personally i dont no, and i have never heard of anyone doing this either who i know. I do know florists that do handtieds and then put them in a vase but arranging in a vase is not something that is common over here.

Depending on the style and type.....I can either hand-tie the design and drop into the vase or I can design i the vase directly.

most of the time, If I need the design to be a rounded, sort of mass shape, then I'll hand-tie the design.....If I need it to be more free-form, then I'll design it in the vase.
