Allied Houston

Cyndi, you are not self centered but extremely lucky. I have had access to a few of the shows promoted by Allied Houston and you have a fantastic group which offers so much to the florists.

We attended two of the Christmas shows, Southern Floral and Pikes Peak. It is a 4 hour drive to Houston and a 4 hour drive back. As much as I would love to go more, it is very difficult to make it and even harder to get multiple employees away from the shop for such a time frame, not to mention babysitting, etc.

Having JTV gives us the opportunity for every shop employee to get a little training on some topics we would not otherwise have. Not every episode has information we need, but it is worth our investment for each little thing we learn that we did not know before.

I have the info for Allied Houston and whenever possible, I will be going to learn more and attend the shows there. But till then, JTV just keeps right on coming here.

WHERE can we get Happy Roses from this week's episode???

Thanks

Donna

They're pretty cool. And as J says, not for everyone but they have their place, I think they'd be awesome for birthday parties, etc. for the younger set. I'd love to see pics of the warm and cool color ranges as well.

J,
I would like to see ME on JTV!

Called my supplier yesterday ....

to see if they had heard of the "Happy roses". She saw them at a show last year ... shipped in from Holland. She hasn't seen the price but if they are injected with dye, and you know the price of the blue dyed roses, then these Happy Roses must be about the price of a mortage payment. She wasn't impressed, but she likes the natural look. She was told that a shop in Montreal brought in 100-200 of them each week for a customer but that they were the only ones they knew of.

According to J's blog the roses will wholesale at about $2.50 per stem and retail for about 9.95 per stem.

I apologise for being so self centered and not understanding that some can not or have the options that I have available to me.
Best of Luck with the shows success!
Cyndi

Not self centered, you're blessed. -you live in an area rich with talent and opportunities. No apologies needed.
