Whats a good gift for a florist?

Thank you all for your advice. I kind of don't want to just send them something from our place (and we don't sell tools anyway), I don't know, it just seems to me like I am being cheap or something if I do that. I don't actually know how many people work there - I know the owner who I dealt with, and I know of three ladies and one delivery man that have been to our place. But there might be more. I know the owner is the one who came up with the design - he told me he had been wrestling with it and woke up in the middle of the night with the idea. I don't know who actually implemented it though.

Oh my goodness. I cannot believe how pretty these flowers were. I am so not a fan of daisies (moms wedding flowers). But these were incredible. Absolutely incredible. I wish I had another event just so I could order more flowers!

Thanks for all of the wonderful ideas!

I say this tongue-in-cheek but the BEST gift you could give ANY florist is the week of Valentines............OFF. lol

Seriously, I could not think of a nicer, better gift than treating the store to a nice catered lunch.

Just once in the past 28 years I have not worked a Valentines Day Week... Was the weirdest thing ever, not sure why though....Not sure if I felt naked or if I knew I could be making money....anyway, it was just weird for me..

To be perfectly honest, the best thank you i can ever get is a thank you card and a review on a facebook page.. The promise of recommendation and stick to your word for me would be worth far more than anything else.

But if you do want to send something more tangible, perhaps a big basket full of goodies and snacks etc to see them through md. :)

If it were me, this would be the most appealing and memorable.

I wish I could do the review on the FB page. Unfortunately, the majority of the florists in our area do not participate in ANY form of social media marketing, including FB. Actually - I would love to give him a "gift" of setting up SMM for their shop. But I don't think that would be too well received. I wouldn't want it to be perceived as insulting...

I dont think they would be insulted at that offer. You could just say, "I would love to rave about the great job you did for my party, but I notice you aren't on FB. If you're interested I would love to set you up and show you how it works to thank you for your hard work." If anyone offered to help me that way I would be thrilled!
