Ellen, *personally* I would take out a full page ad in the local paper, and paste the whole story out there for all to judge but while that's probably not a realistic game plan, I'd try to counter with some sort of Press Release explaining that you are the "original owner" of your current location, *formerly located at* and now open for business under "original ownership" *at*...

A little much wouldn't you say? I'm pulling out all my Southern charm I can
and going to write a release that in years to come my grandgirls and family will be happy to call me mom, grandma, wife, sister, aunt, mother-in-law,and friend. So not only my self will be read about, my family, and who I am. So I really have to think on this one. Thanks for your in put, I was counting on it.

Maybe a full page, with pics of the shop, the Grandgirls, the van, some designs with a text based (letterhead look) center panel touting all your "virtues"...

Of course, I have been know to go a bit over board from time to time

Remember the show Designing Women? Julia Sugarbaker?

She could really let people have it, all the while remaining calm, feminine, and in complete control.

Get this we have never had a cross word!! She say's we're friends!!! She was my landlord for 5+ years. Poor lady, and she had to go find out I'm not stupid!!! Just have to do the Designing Women act on her. If need be.
Julia, was the best, got my best blow it out your ear from her, with a smile and wink of the eye, never knew I was telling them off. She had the charm!!
