Unfortunately what most customers don't realize is that the arrangement they are buying for 29.99 for 18 roses and a box of chocolates from that company is not all they are going to be paying. Service and handling fees will get them to 60.00 really quickly. I keep up one site on my computer at work. I almost complete a sale for the same deal they are showing on FTD and such, then I point out the extra fees added on. They see my point really quickly. I then show them a copy of an old order from FTD over the wire and how much money they give to us. Almost all of my clients are angry with these companies and swear they will buy direct from a local florist from then on.
