Aaahwww, I miss it, good old Canadian Roadsidia! it is beautiful

I actually present a program entitled "from your garden" to clubs and organizations. I only use what I can find in my yard or along the roadside including containers. I have taught so many people to really love those common weeds when they are used for such beauty. Every weed is beautiful when used artistically. My customers ask for some of those things when I do designs for them now.

We got broom in the shop the other day, all went ugh, I think I'm gonna go into export business...Green Goddess and Elfin $2 retail right now..Callas or Agapanthus anyone????

I often think about that particular program with Bill Harper and his weeds. It has to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen on a stage, but, so full of good design and information. Sorry, I didn't know you then and we were in the same room. If I had to pick just one all time favorite presentation....that just might be it.

I could hardly stand to see all the beautiful vegetation you have in N. Z. without wanting to bale it all up and ship if back to Texas. If people only could see what they have through our eyes.

Small world, even smaller flower world!! Yes, awesome program.
So was the whole symposium, that was my student year and we were there with my college for student AIFD comps, very amazing experience.
