Why don't you post more?

Not posting as much, just because I am busy dealing with the business, home and mom...My life rose has changed and I was neglecting alot of it before...Clearing up my depression has made me see that i need to prioritize the very important things in life and do less of the less important things...I feel really bad that so many have made others feel "stupid" or "worthless" in terms of their ideas....If I had, I really am sorry...noones ideas are stupid, worthless, silly or a waste of time....please don't stop posting for these reasons....it really is a shame we have lost some of the more prolific posters, but I am still finding many good and though proking threads, and to be quite honest, they are geared more towards my size biz, than bigger biz...I was gleaning a huge amount of info for my future before, but not really stuff for now...it has changed since the big guys left and made their very own pro chat board, now we small people can talk more about what is working for us right now and what isn't and hopefully keep ourselves more on top of things and aware of the changing landscape of biz...

I hope that more people are finding themselves busy with their shops, that is a good thing...The lurkers should start piping up...i am sure many of you have very worthwhile things on your minds to talk about....you really won't know til you post em...so i say post em if you got em....
 
I'm pretty much on my own now,no employees only when I have weddings. So I just don't have the time. My free time is spent networking and going business to business getting new customers.Plus at times I really don't have $@#% to say,so why waste everyone elses time with useless chatter
 
I agree with much of what has been said here (especially Tuberose and Darlene). I have been busy adjusting to my new "normal". Plus, I don't feel it's my place to give my input on daily shop activities since I no longer work in a traditional shop.

Now that wedding season is slowing down, I really do need to be re-invigorated and re-inspired...which is why I have started coming back.

I hate the thought that I have turned into a lurker, but I guess I have. Thanks for holding a mirror up to my face!!
 
So quit lurking my friend. We can learn so much from you and your experiences. :)

You know me Thom.. I don't care really about offending others... I am actually pretty good at it...

I mean.. after all - My ALL time favorite flower chat post is...

Like Eric said, there's too much to do running a business. In my case, I have downsized so much, in space and in personnel, and now there's facebook, myspace, blogging, and coupled with worrying about the economy, troubled with those arrogant legislators like the one that writes tax laws who avoids paying taxes. Sometimes, I wonder if it's worth it working too hard, collecting sales tax for the government and those legislators and the federal and state workers feel they are entitled for benefits until they die. We have a renter that is collecting welfare, and she has cable, WII and playstation, and she has free healthcare for her and the kids. I have no cable, no WII and I pay a lot of money for my health insurance!
So much for the rant!

Hey AVflorist... You just struck that nerve with me.. I just love those that have the Dish satilite and come to me wanting to borrow money!

There are two guys in town that I swear once a week have been hitting me up for $20 here.. $30 there... Both are on "disability" but yet their kids wear Abercrombie... one lives in a THREE story house - with a pool!!!!

We have not had cable for about 3 years now.. so.. I have just gotten to where I say.. My husband really wants to get cable - so we have decided that we are going to stop loaning money.. so we can have cable!

The nerve of people! I can't NOT stand those who EXPECT something for nothin' .. like we all owe them something! AARRGGHHHH!!!

Like people coming to FC because of all the valuable info, yet declining to participate because it's not worth their time? (Participate = hit the Thanks button, give a comment, feedback, etc.)

Yes, Ryan... I agree with that too! Lazy Suckers! Get all our thoughts and ideas... then never give anything back!

I come here as often as I can...sometimes in the wee hours of the morning and some late at night, and some smack dab in the middle of the day. I add something to a topic when I feel it might be helpful so someone else looking for answers, and ask questions when I need help. I personally limit my involvement to business issues, and don't add to the chat type conversations because, frankly, I don't have the time. It doesn't mean I don't care. I love you guys!
