Deepest condolences...

I, too, lost my dog last Tuesday. He suffered kidney damage as a pup (peace lily!!) so I always new I would eventually loose him to failing kidneys. That doesn't make it any easier. He was quite healthy up until a few weeks ago when he deteriorated quite rapidly. I had to make the decision to put him to rest - and out of pain last week. The vet tried to "jump start" his kidneys by flushing his system but unfortunatly, his kidneys just wouldn't kick in. Chihuahua, Baby, would have been 10 this May. His name says it all. He was my baby.

God bless to you and your family for your loss. I know what you are going through. You all and Woodstock are in my prayers.

Wow, I'm, so sorry for your loss, too. I think the hardest part is that we had so many routines together. Every time I enter into a normal routine that he was part of I feel his absence so very much and I just have to stop and feel the sadness and sometimes cry. I know it will become easier and it already is. We've been flooded from all directions with so much love and support of which a big part is all the people here at flowerchat.

We sure appreciate all the heartfelt responses from you all.
