I saw your facebook pic of your stained glass window treatment. would you be will to share how you did them. My store has 4 yep, 4 huge 4X8 windows, they have no depth, face a road where traffic is zooming along so it doesn't work to do small vignettes. We tend to do big or lighted items that can be identified in a quick glance.

I am always looking for something different and that stained glass look may be the ticket.

we have a new grandson...born 1 hour ago, in Calgary!!....I'm nearly in tears, so happy!!...I hope the same exciting news for you and Jan soon!...

yeah going on the 3rd nov to 5th. There is a trade fair on at alsmeer, just cant wait. I am hoping to get lots of new trends etc so that i can offer something completely different to the customers. Of course i will share any findings here and with you . Also going to birmingham, got free tickets and hubby is coming so not gonna be a expensive day really.. Just hope there is something worth looking at. Looking forward to meeting my guy at strelitzia though and have a play with some of the features of my pos x

I'm sorry to hear you aren't happy so far. I'm afraid that when it comes to CC processing on TF technology the answers truly are very ambiguous. That may not be the answer you like, but it's the reality, and TF works hard to keep it that way.

Most people wind up changing their POS when they leave a wire service, because the WS makes support difficult or impossible.

Your best options are FloristWare (www.floristware.com) and MAS (www.masdirect.com) for the Point of Sale, and just about anything other than GoDaddy for your web site. (Check out Media99, FSN or our Florist 2.0 web sites)

As i mentioned in my first post i am new to FC. So far I am not impressed with the responses I received from a thread i posted.

For a $100 membership i was expecting to get more of a professional reply than the dribble that went back and forth on the post. i am not a computer/tech nerd. I look to others to help in this area. I am currently in the process of terminating my membership with Teleflora and am having a new website designed thru godaddy.com and have established new credit card processing. I am still trying to see if it will be possible to use my existing pos system? or switch to another software/program that will. Not another wire service though.

If this is not in the right area of posting for this kind of help... could you please help direct it to the area it needs to be, so i can hopefully get some help or serious recommendations.

I'm afraid I can't be much help to you. I left TF tech before they had Dove POS ready for prime time, so I've never worked with it under the hood.

There are several Dove users here, though, so you'll be able to get some advice from them.

it was recommended that you would be able to help me with connecting my new credit card processor with my existing Dove Pos system. i am new to FC, so i am not sure how all this works. i posted a thread under wire services section.
