Bloomz was off our scale ... so we had to readjust the scale :)

After all, if we don't give him something to shoot for he might get bored.

How are rep points figured? I have noticed some fc'rs rep points were lower than others previously and now those who had few points previously are higher than others.

Just curious.

I don't know Joe, I was one with a low rep (20), now I'm even lower (7).

Yes I noticed the phrases had changed and I am not sure it is correct I asked my wife if I had a spectacular aura about me and she told me to take out the trash:itchy:

Let me rephrase, if someone had 150 previously and another person had 130, I have noticed that now the person who had 150 might have something like 32 and the person with 130 now has something like 40.

doubt it she refers to Valentines day as the dark holiday,but we do enjoy working in our garden together.It's a going joke with our friends as she is a truck driver and I am a floral designer.

I did remember reading a post somewhere by Ryan saying something about rep to post count ratio. I wonder if that has something to with it?

That's right - the rep system is based on length of membership, number of posts and quality of posts. You can have a higher rep with fewer posts if you're posting thought provoking stuff. If you're all about the "ya, me too" posts then your rep won't be as high.

I don't know if popularity contest is quite accurate ... but it's a measure of the regard in which a person is held within the community.

I know what you are saying but the logic doesn't hold in the newly reformatted rep counts.

That still doesn't mitigate the fact that some fcr's had fewer points removed from their reps than others.

It should have dropped equally, no?

You may have missed my last post, Ryan mentions length of membership weighs into the system.
 
Readjust the scale?
