Like my window says, "God is Good All The Time". Even when we don't know he's working.

Surgery to happen . . . . . @ 5 am PST

The cross match testing took longer than I thought.
They also gave Erin an IVIG treatment while on dialysis last night.
(As a side note: the last time Erin had dialysis in Alabama, her port was starting to give her trouble again. . . . . . she was running out of options for dialysis access points. . .the timing of all this is out of our control. . .:)

Erin says the doctors were impressed with the PERFECT match. Most of the time almost perfect is great, this really was perfect. Only God is really perfect!

30 minutes from now they should be starting.

There are never enough prayers to go around, but one right now would be appreciated.

My brother and his wife (from Vegas) are there with Kathie, her Sister from Sacramento is driving down.

Isn't it neat to be able to share all this with friends this easy. It would be tough to have to call y'all :)

Glenn, Erin was in my prayers this morning, and prayed for last night at church... know there are many many people across the globe with her in their hearts today...

God bless, and may He be with you all constantly as the day unfolds...

Erin is out of surgery and the new kidney is working!

For all the prayers and well wishes.

She will remain in the hospital for about 6 days.

We are excited!

this is such great news. God is truly good. I continue to pray for healing and well wishes for Erin.

For the first time, I am speechless, I am so happy for Erin, I know what it is a burdon to have lifted, and life will be so grand for her now, no more pain, We are so happy for all of you , and our prayers will continue to be with you,as always,,,We remain yours,,with all good thoughts to you and yours..

What joyful news about your child. Prayers for you and yours. I pray for healing the hearts of the donors family.
This is why we should all sign up to be donors,to pass on life.

First Post Op report from Erin. . . .

"I came straight to the room, no ICU, I'm sitting up, sipping some apple juice, AND PEEING LIKE CRAZY".

Still on a catheter, so they are having to empty her jug quite often. . .3 times so far.
