Nori wrap

That was Rene van Rems' book - Rene's Bouquets

Also, I attended a wedding in Italy a long time ago before I was even in the flower business and the bridal bouquet was made of roses which were individually wrapped with tulle around the heads, like the Hong Kong wrap. Then they were all put together as one large bouquet for the bride. After the ceremony, the bride took the bouquet apart and handed all the women a tulle wrapped rose. I thought that was so cool, at the time.

flowal warps

just returned from POLAND and that is the way they do ALL their gift bouquets.....they use cello, fibre wrap, sometimes the woven hemp-like material.....LOTS of greens...
NO ONE visits there without taking a bouquet ! their main interaction is vising each others homes for dinner or just desert and coffee.
the cemetaries for ALL SOULS DAY were unbelievable....it is a ritual for them to visit the cemetary often and for sure for ALL SOULS DAY. traffic jams, gobs of flowers...candles...etc...there are actual flower shoppes located in front of the cemetary...
they also don't have funeral homes and the visitation is done in the cemetary chapel. almost all people bring flowers (lots of them) to the chapel. some of the traditional bouquets and some large sheafs....easels are not popular.....
very interesting for an American

In Spain All Souls Day is massive, they all take picnics to the cemetary with flowers to visit the dead. I was over there this year when it occured and it was mad to see everyone walking around with flowers in hand!!

I wish we celebrated it here.
