I'm making a hand-tied Lily of the Valley bouquet today and the LOV is mixed with other longer stem flowers. Since some of my stems are very short, I thought about adding wet cotton and taping the LOV and sweet pea together to make longer stems.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any tricks to working with short stemmed LOV since it is so delicate (and EXPENSIVE in October!)

what about skinny straws with pipe cleaners threaded up them?
