two rebels did ask for information on how to participate ( page 8) and have yet to get an answer.....hmmm are we "rebels without a cause"?????? Erlene and I both asked guys....so what do we do...

Eric,

The video actually started at #50 - virtually in no-man's land in terms of SEPs :) We've been able to affect a 46 point jump in a relatively short period of time - quite a remarkable effort.

Congrats to everyone who's pitched in, and to Mac for the idea.

Here's a chart of the progress.

Quite impressive, and kudos to all involved! I think it's also a lesson to those of us who never even knew how any of this works. Kind of fascinating.
 
I moved my link to my index page last night as I couldn't find it in the link: command readily. I originally had it a page deeper.

We are now officially above the fold!!! Position 3 for pro flowers and position 5 for proflowers and being above the fold is huge.

Yes, we rock - what a great experiment this has been. What a great idea Mac!

And really, what are we doing/accomplishing? Exactly what google wants - returning the most relevant results!!! LOL!

Now if we could figure out how to do a reverse drive, meaning to make them move down we could hit FTD.com, TF.com...Blooms...FUF....LOL:fdevil:

Ironically, JB, you're right ... but at the same time we're "manipulating" their system (which they hate), and we're doing using links with a financial benefit (hurting competitor(s)).

See how the SEO world gets so grey so fast :)
 
Those same competitors have been hurting real florists for YEARS, blasting us as using old flowers and unreliable delivery methods, all the while wiring orders to real florists through FYF and other OGs for same day delivery.
Well now its...... Payback time....Game on!!:thumbsup
 
When you got a gorilla like this making even FTD soil their trousers - they make a wonderful target and Chez nailed it there - they been dissing florists for frigging years now.

I got no problem with florist OG's (duh) but I have huge huge huge problems with 1600 pound gorillas.

Speaking of dissing florists...What can we do with Vermont Teddy Bears next?
