Mark, are you telling me that you are losing sales because you want some really great page on plants?

Why not post some cataloged photos of green plants, planters and blooming plants in the interim?.

Um Joe...

Blooming Plants http://www.smithsflowers.com/list/plant/16/Blooming-Plants

The Ecom pages ARE there... the under construction pages are "About our Plants"... the company that supplies my (secret growth formula) is coming in next week to shoot video, a commercial, and finish up the data I want to put on those pages, I probably should just make them invisible for now, but what the heck...

Before we get too sidetracked here, I think Mark's point is really pertinent to the shops doing a substantially less volume in orders. $225,000 and less in combined gross orders is a substantial amount of the shops, and I think more than a few of them are on here. This is where the benefit to the bottom line comes in. And I'm thinking if you are paying employess to fill discounted orders, the same employee could be entering those orders in, and helping you out more. I don't know the numbers, and I am not an expert, but there is some valid argument to this point of view.

You know the whole wire service debate is colored by the size of your shop. If you are under a certain amount you are getting killed, and the inconvenience/convenience factor becomes one of surviving. Especially while your incoming orders are slowing. Everyone in this debate knows that the smaller and more reliant you are are incoming the more you are offsetting your website charges with that money. When that incoming trickles down you are now getting creamed with charges on the other part of your business you thought you were building. Again the word predatory comes to mind :dunno:

Especially when the wire & tech reps are out in force, all over shops like white on rice. Let us pull you out of the water and save you $xxx a month for one year while we chain an anchor to your leg for five more.

Boss - may I give you a tip? You have a link for Easter but it only tells about Easter - and I can't find that in the java drop down menu - do you have Easter selections?

If not - I know where you can link to some drop ship ones.....

I ain't getting many, but a few orders is a few orders.....
