Can't speak with authority, but I would guess it could go something like this:

"Hi, I'm calling from ABC Florist .." <fake florist name>

"Just bill my VISA for this 100% UNdiscounted order." <fake VISA number>

60-90 days later, the filling florist who put 100% effort into this 100% order is 100% screwed with a chargeback.

my shop member number is xx-xxxx and blah blah

you deliver the flowers and the clearing house process the numbers and next statement you get a call saying that the shop did not send you an order.

Who is screwed?

Could you explain this one to me, "the bogus wire order and the part of "several tens of thousands of dollars being called out to unsuspecting florists on direct orders".

I cannot figure out how a credit card order which is processed and excepted is ripping off florists?

Awaiting an explantion...or something...

And there is an investigation under way regarding someone that has done this to the tune of 50K to UNsuspecting florirts.

I see it as an advertisement for technology AND direct CC orders...
