There will be a few adjustments to the seeding and florists involved.

If any of the confirmed florists that think they may not be able to make this happen, please let me know today, I realize other things come up, like funerals, and other jobs, so, I understand if you need to back out, but just let me know by tonight :)

Lori from Affairs To Remember in MA is in the contest now, unfortunately Anthony's has some personal things they need to attend to so Lori will fill in for them.

I still have to confirm with Mums and More, and a few others, or just please confirm again on this thread that you are in for sure :) I am looking for back up florists just in case someone else cannot do it :)

I also may swith the matchups again, I will post it later :)
 
Adam - I need an OK that more than one designer from our shop can contribute to the creation arrangement.

I am allergic to tulips and alstroemeria (contact dermatitis) and cannot design with them, even with gloves and/or barrier creams. Takes me a month to heal after touching them (small, miserably itchy blisters that look like micro-poison ivy breakouts.)

For what it's worth, I don't have any problem with this. The design is representing the store, so if you can deal with someone elses fingers in your pie, I don't think anyone else would, either.;)

Yes, more than one designer can contribute

oops, I misread your post, yes, someone can help with creation of the design

Hey, when you finish your videos, give me a heads up by PM or on this thread. Also when you do a YouTube description, at some point, when you get a link to your competition's video, also add that link to your video description. If you need help with this, I will do it when your videos are done.

I will also be putting all embedded videos one by one, on my blog too, and feel free to do the same on your own blogs.


HELP, does anyone know a good way for me to create a voters poll, for everyone to go to and vote for their favorites? I want to be able to have a link that anyone can go to and vote. I've never done this before so, I am not sure if there is a website that would allow me to create a poll and keep track of the votes for me? Any suggestions?

Adam is it possible to upload these to their own You Tube channel??? that way the videos will be together, and our customers and others can subscribe to it, and be updated when new designs and winners are announced or updated. Would this be easier than following a bunch of different links to vote?
 
I think we will be Ok uploading to our own channels. I think getting everybody to upload to the same channel may be tricky since, we would all have to share same passowrd to log in, etc and you still wont be able to watch videos lined up next to each other, like you would on a blog page....I think we will be Ok, besides you also want to promote your own youtube channel for future.

However, I am also going to put them on a blog page all together, so people will be able to view bothe designs next to each other for each matchup. Then there will be a link to poll to vote. Not sure how the voting will go, so thats why I have Ricky as the judge too, to balance of the public vote and get a more experienced eye to look at designs.

Adam, What are you using for video editing software??

Is it a free application??
 
I have a kodak camera...I just downloaded the most recent upgrade for my software and low and behold it has very similar video editing...I can clip video, splice video and add music...then upload right to youtube with a few clicks of the mouse...

This should be pretty easy!!!!I hope..

I just finished mine.....yeah, I've got too much time on my hands, I know! LOL

It's so slow so far this week and we have wedding and funeral job for end of week, so I wanted to get it done today before I get too busy.

It came out OK, I really didn't have much of a plan, just winged it on the spot! I am sure Ricky will be able to rip into it a bit, LOL!

GL everybody, & let me know if I can help anyone out if they have any questions :)

PS- Rhonda, go ahead and do one if you want, we may need an alternate just in case someone has trouble along the way. I welcome anyone to try making one, even if you just take a picture, I will be happy to add to my blog, etc.
 
omg my kodak has a camera too doh!! Actually i could not have entered, it is mothers day here on the 18th so that would be a close call and flowers will be creeping up soon. Its also ladies day in Russia which i think hikes the prices up.
