I'm proud of you too! I love people who get things down on such short notice! way to be a go getter!

If you want for now, when you upload your video, make it "private", until we are ready to "share with the world". Don't post your videos to facebook just yet. Just let them know, video coming soon!

I will be around this weekend and will be checking PM's if you have any more questions :)

Don't worry Ricky, I will absolutely take care of that for you :) I will be in touch with you and Carol early next week to go over some things. Voting for public starts March 12-20th, which will give you guys plenty of time to view and discuss designs. Your decision wont be due until March 22nd

The videos are not live yet. I will be sure to embedd videos on here and blog for you to view.
 
Ricky, I will also have videos lined up against each other on my blog to make it easy to view side by side.

This is a small wedding we did this weekend and I made a couple videos of making the bouquets, and delivering the finished product.

This just gives you an example of how it will be really easy for you and Carol and others to view the entries side by side...hope this helps....

Update, I believe 5 of the 8 florists videos are done and ready for youtube. Still waiting to hear from Mums and More, Twigs, And Avante Gardens. When you finish, give me a heads up.

Aaaaaaargh - me too, only it's my home laptop, the one I do ALL of my site design, marketing, etc. Was supposed to e-mail an image last night for a deadline today.......guess I'll go take a frikkin' picture provided my camera still works. Crap!
 
I got to rework my video and reedit to add some effects to it and crop it...i am real happy with it for my first video...I already asked my husband if we could make some room in the budget for a flip, but with symposium coming to town this year, I don't think it is in the cards for me...but my camera works ok...

Great experience...great exposure, getting good PR..my chamber of commerce is behind me to promote this...life right now is great..I couldn't be happier...

Not sure if this has already been discussed. But since I couldn't commit myself to participate in this, I would still like to contribute in some way..

What if I made a certificate in the winner's name, and mailed it when it's done?

I could somehow incorporate the name of this competition.. and include some other information

Ex:
FlowerChat
Battle of the Flower Designers
March Madness Tournament 2010
The winner's name, and shop name

I guess a signature would be optional, it could be one (or more) of the admins, the judges (RWK...)

Let me know what you think!

Ok everybody, we are almost ready, I am waiting on 2 more videos from Mums and More & Twigs, and also waiting for Hollyhocks video to go live. We should have those up by this afternoon.

In the meantime you can check out the other videos on my blog.
My blog is not the official link so dont use it for voting...

We will have an official voting poll blog coming later tonight, and voting will start Friday AM :)
