If we all share with facebook and then favorite the videos, they will come up as posts on our facebook pages...

Also remember, CHR will have the poll page up by tonight and that will have all the videos embedded on it too. I would use that link to send voters to....

for now, I think getting it out on FB and blogs is also good, yes we should all link up eventually-

Also put links on youtube descriptions for your competition, you can read my youtube video description ( click more info)

Look over my blog entries and if you see if there is anything that I need to fix let me know. This includes names website links designer names or anything else you would like to see mentioned.

It was kinda hard jummping back and fourth to get URLS Names Embed Links. I think we need to work on sharing information a little better so that we can properly link back and forth correctly. You know help with providing some content so that our blogs aren't filled with links only.

I have start on the youtube stuff next so wish me luck.

I have suffered a stroke of bad luck. The power supply connection on my laptop is fried and I'll have to put it in the shop for repairs. As a result, I am temporarily without computer access......For how long I do not know.

Just wanted to let you all know.

I could not get the videos embedded and hope someone will come along that can figure it out.

Rick - best luck for a speedy recovery for your computer. Mine still hasn't made it to the hospital... we're too busy right now.

Steve on Facebook told me the video for Twigs & Hollyhocks is the same link ( twigs video)

---on another note- poll voting will count for 33% of the final decision....The 2 judges will also be 33% each of the vote---
So even if someone wins the poll vote by a landslide, it is only worth 33%

I fixed the link to Hollyhocks' video - thanks for letting me know.

Not sure about opening the videos in new windows - am still hoping to have them embedded instead. Will let you know if I get it fixed.

Thanks for the blog posts. You are soooooo right about the text descriptions and the anchor text for the links. They'll really help with both viewers & SEs. :)

At least if they go to one of the links, they can see the other 3 poll links on that page too.

So when you post one link on Facebook, just add note telling people to make sure they vote for the other 3 matchups too.

Cathy thanks for the hard work you have put in on the polls and Adam thanks for organizing this event...it has worked out very well for me here...and I have all of you to thank..This was well worth the 100.00 price of admission with the press I got just from this one event, nevermind the monthly webinars teaching me how to use the social media tools better...I should be able to take over my area by leaps and bounds with Flowercat by my side, my secret weapon, well not so much anymore now that it is in the paper, but what the heck....it's what you do with the info once you get it right...

So SAF has picked up the story and is posting it on Facebook...I wonder if we will make it into the newsletter...who would have thought that this would be such a newsworthy story...for all of us to have fun...This is why I stayed a florist, its work but it is a whole lot of fun when you just let your hair down and throw caution to the wind...Yay us!!!!

You need to be thanked for putting this together, I really appreciate that the rules pushed me to learn new technologies that I can use in the future. I love my Flip and have been taking it with me to grandchildren's events. When I saw your design I was excited because I thought about doing something similar.

Thank you, for the wonderful instructional design, and the time it took to put together such a great video, I love that design. In addition, you spent a lot of time setting up the poll, you willingness to donate your time is incredibly kind.

This was incredible fun for me. I enjoyed participating and learning so many things, thank you all.
