Bloomz. I didn't think you were man enouh to look in the mirror and see exactly who you've become.. .
Really, rather chilldish.
Now are the rest of the readers of this thread going to complain about Bloomz post as strongly as you did about mine? Or are there double standards arround here.
At least the words I chose have a definition in Websters Dictionary.
I'm not really sure what your trying to tell me Bloomers, You see, I have always had trouble with sign language. But it really wasn't necessary to go to all that trouble posing for those pictures. Especially that one. That position really seems to be rather uncomfortable to get into. Especially with a beard.

Time for the silliness to end. Keep away from the insults, Knife, and discuss facts. Where are you finding links to his sight that point to Syracuse? I checked Google, didn't find any.

I'll leave it to Ryan to decide if this warrants a new thread but this whole mess leads me to ask what seems to be the obvious question.
What defines an 'order gatherer'? When does the line blur from florist to OG? I know what I consider an OG, I'm curious as what an OG is in your definition.

That's the question I would like to see addressed. Not that all will come to agree on the answer, but it is still a much needed question to be discussed.
Hi all. Just last week I was in Corvallis on my way up to Newport for the week. I was going to drop by expression in blooms but did a drive by instead. I will say JB has a beatuiful shop from the outside with gerbs all over the place. And a very big banner sign on the front of his building telling everybody he send wire's free. So yes he does market it on the local level.
But I am sure his web presence beats out the local orders for wire outs and deliveries combine. And congrats to you Bloomz ... We have also made contacts in other area's with company's and marketing material to help increase our wire outs and it has helped us and also hurt us.
We reach the point with wire outs that it has sometimes put us in a logisticle nitemare to help service both the local customer and also the customer out of state. I don't do anywhere near the wire outs JB or most do so I can respect the fact that they can deal with that type of volume. with positive results.
Not taking away anything flowerknife has to say. I would like to think of him as the cheerleader for the underdog and respect the fact that he can stick to his guns and what he believes. But that doesn't make him right ... atleast not all the time.

Leading up to and during the Christmasa holiday season. Bloomz site was showing up under a number of search engins.
My wife and I are sure of it.
We were in the process of getting our web site listed in several search engines at the time. (based upon information and tips given on several message boards) and were frequently checking the engines to see if our listings were showing up for our area.
Our efforts were in no way specificly intended to look for Bloomz web site. He simply showed up while looking for ours.
At that time he showed up under the sponserd links, Highligted links on the right side of the page and in some cases in the general listings themselfs.
We both KNOW what we saw and read..
I do not consider it outside the relm of possibility that these listings are not currently in place.
Considering it is a slow period in general for these type of services, the expence for their placement may be cost prohibitive. Now.
I admitt that I should have found a better way of bringing the subject up..
For that I have an obligation and desire to apologize to all those who come here.
The subject must be of interest to alot of people considering the volume of views.

Those sponsored links will blanket many different searches, not just a city. Bloomz and I just recently talked about those. Those sponsored links will come up if a keyword is used that was paid for, like flowers, florist, teleflora, etc. So if I put in "(insert city here) florist" in to the search box the sposor on the left would come up that paid for the search term "florist". Granted there are sites out there that will use a city as a keyword as well but those are ones that I beliveve have deeper pokets than Bloomz, like Florist.com who seems to have ALOT of city names as a sponsored link.

Luc, I agree that it's a hot topic - but it raises valid issues. In this case, I think if you don't like the content of a thread, don't read it. While I don't like to things devolve like they did, I'm not a huge fan of censorship either. Choosing not to participate is the easiest form of censorship and is what many (like Victoria do).

"Growing up" not being anywhere on my to-do list, I would suggest if one wants this to become positive, perhaps one starts a thread asking those questions above ("what is an OG? or how do ads show up in someones city when one didn't target that city?" or "how do I get more wire outs") or whatever. What started I believe as friends being nice - knife turned into something quite different. I do have some (I think) valid opinions and ideas to share that could help a bit, (including knife if he could just open his mind a teeeeeny bit for a second, tho not likely), cuz I do know some things about those topics. This is now like peeing in the punchbowl at a wedding and as long as my name is in the title of this post, I got nothing really to share except thanks to my friends.
