On another note, check out our FTD.com website this Friday night as we re-launch the brand and bring back the Black and Gold. You will see that the florist delivered orders are more prominently and clearly displayed on the site. The consumer will not be confused between drop ship and florist delivered.

Exciting times are here and more to follow.

I'm excited, this must be why I couldn't get to sleep last nite.

I'm sure Sfox is beside himself.
 
Rhonda - you're not looking at the new site yet - we'll see - but they claim it will be easier to tell drop ship from florist products.

Re reading his interview in floral management he does seem to see a distinct delineation between the two, and corresponding emotional impact.

I've met the guy - yes he's arrogant but what successful marketer isn't?

I think he's possibly a refreshing change from the Wall Street guy who didn't like flowers, what was his name?

PS don't even cast me as an FTD cheerleader - them being in my phone book has put another brick in the wall of an already quasi antagonistic relationship.

If This does happen it would be great, but I think we will all have to see, what happens, but that is withevery thing, I wanta Keep an Eye on Aaron, It may be the way to go, well see.

PS I think I know why you didn't sleep last night, darlin, if FTD things keep ya up, then I think ya need......Everyone use your own thoughts,,,,,LOve ya darlin,,,Couldn't help myself, I know this is a family site, ,,,,,

Why would I be beside myself.

You are an ordergatherer that happens to have a flower shop.

FTD wines and dines you, gives you free trips, discount credit card rates and does all this by raking the average florist over the coals with dues, fees and every other kind of charge.

You happen to make your money being an OG.

More power to you. But when you try to pass yourself off as just another regular florist and promote the company that is busy screwing the average florist, NAW Bloomzie, I don't get beside myself, I just laugh.

Ok the idea that this is a step in the right direction(giving something back to their many member florists)ok i accept it....but why??whats changed, how come now...gotta be a reason?..

And you met the guy and he is more amenable. So does that mean when he sticks it to the florists it will be done with a smile?

Do you really think he will allow FTD to give up any revenue so that florists could make a few extra bucks? Change is always a scary time and he knows that he has to placate his victims before he sticks them further. It's nice to know he will screw florists with a smile.
