Maybe more REAL FLORISTS will pay more attention to what THE HANDS are DOO-ING rather than, what THE MOUTHS are saying.
TESTING a few CONSUMERS in your shop was BRILLIANT!
It clearly shows what their SWEET SPOT is, and the fact that, a full 50% discount (fleeting as it might be) plus the $29.99 SRP, is more than enough to motivate them into a POINT and CLICK. Which only goes to show us that, CUSTOMER LOYALTY can be purchased out from under us, as long as THE PRICE IS RIGHT!
Since that's been, and most likely WILL CONTINUE TO BE, the strategy employed by the new owner, and despite what the mouth is saying, what's the point of sending your money back to their coffers.
FOCUS on THEIR FLORISTS, is what's coming out of the MOUTH, while the HAND is reaching into their florist's wallets. That gleans more CASH from their florists, which they can pour back into their DOT.CON CONSUMER MARKETING, with more SPECIAL DEALS and FARM DIRECT to the CONSUMER, rather than, ORDERS THROUGH THEIR MEMBER SHOPS.
Suffice it to say that, while some HOLD OUTS still HOPE FOR CHANGE, the only CHANGE they'll get to see, is the CHANGE LEFT OVER FROM THEIR DOLLARS, after the FOCUS ON THEIR FLORISTS has FLEECED THEM DRY and STOLEN ALL OF THEIR ORDERS!
