Wedding Pictures

I didn't even go to help set up. I stayed behind at the shop to keep the store open and also to deal with my 2 other weddings.

Amy and I had gone out to the MOB home a few weeks ago and so we knew what was expected and where it all went. I usually don't go set up weddings anyway.
We were told everything will be in place when we got there, blah blah blah. However when Amy and the staff got there, no tables were set up they decided to change a few things, The tent people were suppose to leave a 16' ladder, it wasn't there, blah blah blah, so it's better I didn't go. I always like to plan extra time for "hidden flaws".

The thing that drives me crazy is not having them not having their poo in a pile and also the linens having creases in them. Notice both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding has creases in the linens. Tacky tacky tacky. I hope they steamed them before the wedding. But I don't know how they'd have the time. Who knows. I guess I'll know when I get my disk.

I'm with you on the creases in the table linens, Shannon.
Makes me NUTS.
My question is why?
Why spend all that money for linens, centerpieces, etc only to have them look like crap on creased linens. It's like it they think it doesn't get seen???? It should be mandatory in a linen contract that they come with a steamer.

Spectacular flowers Mocha!!!

Two smaller weddings this week.
One I liked, one not so much.
White callas and red roses - booorrrrinnggg

Here's the one I liked

Tracy P.... Lovely, and all the cascades, love the colors and flowers used!!, Rhonda, Like the orchids and callas!! Mocha Rose...WOW!! Cherrie... love the colors!! Shannon, that wedding looked like fun!
RC...I want a wedding like that!

Today was fun... made an impromptu bouquet for a Mexican gentleman on his way to his wedding... 5 white flowers... Wanted calla lilies, but only had two... so here is what he picked 1 stem of white orientals with 3 flowers open and the 2 calla.. getting ready to wrap for him to take and he asked for ribbon, so I wrapped the stems with pool blue ribbon that he chose, finished with a couple of bows, and couple of diamonte pins... he was pleased as punch....on off to his wedding!! Got to love it!!!

Here is the little pick up brides bouquet and bridesmaids from Friday..
(Mom who picked up unbeknown to me is the receipient of many of our flowers from her boyfriend...it was nice to meet her.) Mom loved them!! Said they were perfect...can't wait to see pictures of the wedding

RC, Those arrangements on the altar are absolutely perfect, the colours are gorgeous and just the placement of everything has really given it massive impact!!

Here are a couple weddings from this weekend.

Jane, from our Eagle River location did this one.

Diane, from our Eagle River location did this one. I never would have thougth to do white hydrangea, callas and sunflowers-but the bride brought in a pic of what she wanted-and that was it! We do quite a few weddings that are at the summer homes of summer residents in Eagle River and Minocqua-vacation destinations. Sorry for the quality of the photos! They're from a cell phone.

Tracy,

Very nice!

The box holders are cool, and the heart on the door with the funky monogram letters really caught my eye. Your giving me some really neat ideas for some upscale arrangements!

RC

PS: Did you do the photography? Looks great!

Thank you for the nice comment~ yes I did take those yesterday~ I did not get any of the bride but I will let the pro send me the good ones.. This is fun to hang on the doors...make sure you send pics.. oh and the boxes make a GREAT impression the maids LOVED them.. when I walk into the room with the flowers everyone says they have never seen boxes like that~~

Huge week and I'm exhausted! We had two weddings which consisted of 35 large centerpieces (see pics), 2 very large urn arrangements, 60+ bouts and corsages, 1 dessert table display (4 large arrangements), 26 bouquets, 1 chuppah, lighting, 150 orchid place settings, custom linens (black damask ones, 2 cakes, 4 altar arrangements, 10 24" cylinders with large pillars, 16 smaller cocktail arrangements, 5 delivery locations, 1 employee no show due to kidney stones.

Got through it with minimal hiccups and VERY glad to have a wedding free weekend on the 4th!!

All I can say is... wow.

Tracy i deliver my handtied bouquets in these style of boxes but yours are decorated so lovely. They have certainly insprired me to create a decoration which i think could be done with craft punches??

Gorgeous pics everyone, keep them coming.

3 weddings this last weekend! Glad it's over :)
Here's a few more pictures from a Sunday wedding we did yesterday-

yesterday's wedding, really a vow-renewal.

Wouldn't have suggested gyp w/tropicals, but she brought me a photo that had to be "just like it". Come to think of it, all this week's weddings were photo-copies; some from our portfolio, some from others.

Yay no weddings for a week, then it starts again July 11th

Rose of Sharon... I need a source for feathers like the big ones on the table centerpieces. Can you share your source? Thanks.

The bride provided the ones I used. She got ordered them from Hobby Lobby when they were 1/2 off.

Do you have Hobby Lobby there? If not, let me know. I have to go by ours this week & can get a product number if you want to order them.
