I have just finally had time to check on the comments and I would like to thank everyone for their input especially concerning the angle of the photograph I took which I realize now was not great. I took the picture looking down on the arrangement and it made the container look much smaller that it was. I have wanted to take a photography course for ages and now I realize I have to find the time to take a night school course especially since I take the pictures for my website.
I was asked to do 4 bridal bouquets for Perfect Wedding Magazine for the Spring 09 issue and yesterday was the photoshoot. They sent a photographer to my little studio and I wondered how they could take good pictures in such a small space.
It was so much fun to watch them at work! They came with their own backdrops and the photographer actually stood just outside the door to get the best light.
I could see that both the photographer and her assistant were passionate about their work. It took them 4 hours to take pictures of the 4 bouquets. I wouldn't be surprised it they took over a hundred pictures.
The feature in the magazine is Bouquets with Bling so all of the bouquets had Bouquet Jewels or crystals in them. They had me move some of the jewels a slight fraction of an inch just to get the right sparkle without glare. It was absolutely fascinating and now I'm hooked on photography.
They each had their favourite bouquet and said they wished they were getting married again so they could have the bouquet. I gave them each their favourite when they left.
It was a fabulous day and now I can't wait to see the pictures.I learned a lot from them just by watching them work and I also learned a lot from all the comments and from all the beautiful designs everyone did for this competition.

Yeah, there like little dudes examining your site and reporting back to Yahoo to let them know how the site should rank in their search engine.
Google's version of this are Google bots.
I see a comic out of this: Yahoo Spiders vs. Google Robots. If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on the robots

Good Luck to everyone! Ive been keeping scores and there really isnt much in it for the last 5 places, they keep changing so everyone is definately still in with a chance. Just to let you know how close it is, the person with the least amount of points (not counting valu), is only 100 points away from 12th place, so that will give you an idea of the closeness of the competition!! :bouncy:

Shannon, just add all your votes (points) together. For example if you only had 5 votes, but they were all rated 10, then you would have 50 points.
well, im off to bed now cause its nearly 12 midnight here, but before i go i just had to say that 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th place have very little point difference between them only 14 point between 11th and 14th place, that is only 2 scores of 7 points, so dont forget to vote cause the last few hours are counting the most, night everyone, cant wait till morning:calidream
I appreciate all the feedback I've gotten. Some of the criticism was right on and some of it I didn't understand but maybe if I think on it for a while, I will. I am not oversensitive with my design, I know it was not perfect and it does not represent my inner soul and define me as a person. lol A twist on bloomz' signature, "it's just flowers, silly!"
same difference, as in not brain surgery or life altering, major stuff that needs to make me get all emotional. having said that it would hurt my feelings if someone said my design sucked but like you said shannon, I do consider the source too.
