Wedding Pictures

I can finally join the fun. This was a DIY bride that ended up having us do it all!! The photos don't do the bride justice - she is the most stunning young lady I've seen in a long time - you just don't see that here.

Did everything but the cake flowers and the vase next to the cake (?). Fun, fun people. Bride and MOG just came in to say Thank you - that's the part I love :)

Guess it's been awhile since I uploaded shots. Busy month here.

This was the wedding that we featured behind the scenes on Twitter. We did two large weddings in one day. 44 centerpieces, 8 altar arrangements, 44 pew arrangements, 20+ bouquets, 50+ bouts and corsages, and lots of other fun stuff. One was in Pittsburgh, the other 220 miles of travel at the Bedford Spring resort. we had a staff of four people for processing and design (including Onkya a local freelancer that is a member here and ROCKS!) and five for set up.

Everything went perfectly. Seriously, when does that ever happen??? We were ahead of schedule all week.

Oh and I don't want to copy and save pictures from the photographer's site since I haven't asked for images yet. However, the photographer from the Bedford Resort wedding was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Total eye candy.

Here's a link to the pro shots from his blog. I sure hope he submits this to a magazine.

Absolutely fabulous! I love everything in this wedding. Except the cake and
flowers next to the cake. You can certainly tell it didn't quite belong.
Love the airy-ness of the bouquets. Beautiful.

This bride was the most fun to work with. She's very creative, did a very personalized wedding with lots of DIY touches. She made the crystal stems you see in the bride's bouquet.

Crap! I just noticed that I deleted the full shot of the bride's bouquet. :boggles: I'll have to wait 'till I get the photographer's shots to show it off.

These are just a few pictures from yesterday's wedding at Hatley Castle. I was hoping to take more pictures at the castle but only managed to quickly snap one during set up.
The photographer has won many awards for wedding photography so I am looking foward to seeing them.
Everything went really well. The bride couldn't stop hugging me and the wedding planner at the castle is adding me to their preferred supplier list . I have wanted to make it on to that exclusive list for years so I am really happy.
The trees were for the ceremony and had three flower balls on each tree . This is just a picture I took a week before the wedding when I did a test run to see if the branches would hold up.
Incase anyone is wondering what the little round green plant is on the front of the boutonnieres (with the pink ribbon) it is parsley that has gone to seed. I like to try to use something different and I noticed it in my garden. I think I will plant more parsely next year and let it go to see earlier.
I just realized you can only post 5 pictures at a time so I'll have to try again.

These are a few other pictures I couldn't fit on the last post.
There are a lot more but I didn't want to bore you.
I have seen a lot of brides but I think Ali is the most beautiful bride I have ever seen and the groom was absolutely gorgeous so I'm sure their wedding pictures will be fabulous.
The wedding was a lot of work but it was all worth it in the end.

I have attached a picture of the parsley. It is just regular parsley from the garden. If you don't cut it back it starts to go to seed and these seed circles appear . For a few days they are firm and then they eventually burst and spread the seeds everywhere for next year.
I used the whole circle on some of the boutonnieres and just an individual circle on the front of others.

Beautiful work! What colour of pink roses did you use in the bouquets? I have a wedding in December and pink roses on the list. Thanks in advance )
